Honestly, I can see why this event is so heavily policed and ticketed—the activities of many of these drivers are a nuisance at best and sometimes dangerous at worst.
But I will give the positive that even if the stance culture isn’t my preference, every one of these people care about the look (and cleanliness/detail) of their cars by about sixteen orders of magnitude more than I do my own. It shows.
